| General Overview | Rena is a full telepath from the 4th House of Betazed. She is a very easy going person who likes when things are in order, organized and planned. Rena is fun and out going but has moments when she is shy. Rena specialized in operational management along with Xenolgy. She loves learning new species and their cultures. When she isn’t working, she is reading, painting or playing different sports to keep fit. She is a list person. She likes things to be organized and likes to be a few steps ahead so there are no surprises. She hates surprises. |

| Personal History | Rena grew up on Betazed with a very large family of 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is the youngest and also a twin. Her twin sister Raina did not join Starfleet as she wanted to be a teacher on Betazed. Her family is very traditional and did not support her joining Starfleet. Rena always wanted to visit as many planets as she could, so joining Starfleet was a simple choice for her even though it was against her families wishes. Rena tends to do what she feels in her heart. Her grandmother told her she has a wild spirit and should not let others tame it. During her time at the academy she dated a few people but nothing serious came out of it. Rena was too focused on her studies then looking for a mate. The Uss-Timmons was her first tour as a cadet, it was mostly uneventful except for a little mishap with a bottle of vodka and a half Klingon woman. She has a scar on the length of her left palm from blocking the broken bottle from slashing her face. Rena left the scar as a reminder that she needs to be mindful when or if she drinks. Uss- Marner was Rena’s real taste of being an officer. She was promoted to Ensign which came along with the duty of being an operations officer. Rena was on the ship for only 6 months when the assistant ops officer died suddenly which pushed Rena into his position until a replacement was found. She did such a great job the Captain of the Marner kept Rena as the assistant ops officer and gave her the rank of lieutenant jr. grade. Rena had met a man on the Marner that might have turned into something serious but she got word that she was being transferred. They agreed to remain friends but it was a mutual decision that long distance would not work. |
