| Personal History | Varnok Jahal - has dropped surname "Jahal" as the bodies of his parents have never been found, and Cardassian tradition dictates that the grieving process can't happen properly without a body Born 2360. Parents were environmental scientists. Wanted him to become a scientist as well. Dravik Jahal Father, Septka Jahal Mother- no siblings Orphaned at 15 during the Dominion war when Cardassia was devastated. Parents were killed and he was taken off world on a refugee ship. The ship was picked up by a Federation Starship. Many of the refugees went to the neutral colony of Lejonis. He chose to go to Earth. Joined Starfleet academy as soon as he was able as Starfleet represented sanity and reason during the war to him. Started on a science track but shifted his focus to Intelligence as his interest in science wasn't there but intelligence is a different way to apply the scientific method to solve problems. |
