| General Overview | Ulani has been "retired" from Starfleet for the past 10 years. She has dedicated the last ten years to her children, knowing they were at important places in their lives to make decisions that would infect who they would be in their future. Although retired from Starfleet, she cannot resist taking risks. Her early years in Starfleet was in intelligence. She moved to Security when the children came along. This was mainly for their safety. She was never concerned for her own. In the past few years, Ulani has been itching to get out and have adventure in her life again. She really is not one for the empty nest syndrome. She is a risk taker. |

| Personal History | Ulani is the daughter of Ambassador Kerios of Elas and his wife Sena. She and her sister were reared to become ambassadors like their father. Only, Ulani did not want to be at a table bargaining with people. She was much more adventurous. She wanted to experience the thrill of being undercover, not in the forefront. She ran from Elas and joined Starfleet intelligence. She was able to impress many as an undercover specialist, using her sexuality and the special effects of her Elasian tears. She was used undercover at a very young age to infiltrate many Orion Slave Rings. At the age of 20, she transferred to the Excalibur, in a pursuit to establish a relationship with the captain, whom she met on Risa. It turned out he was getting back together with his ex-wife. However, it was at this time Ulani met a nurse named Jaime Chaparral. Things were difficult for the two at first; they didn't see things eye-to-eye. The heat got so hot that it soon became physical to the point of a heated attraction. The two fell in love and married after Ulani became pregnant. When the children began to appear, Ulani knew she could not continue in Intelligence and put their lives in danger. She transferred to security. This seemed to satisfy Jaime as well, because she was around more. The past ten years, both Jaime and Ulani have been retired from Starfleet. Ulani had turned her attention to the children. Jaime joined the staff at a local Medical Center. Now that the children are all raised, Ulani has the need to take risks again - to seek adventure. |
