| Personal History | Jenny grew up as the only girl in a family of 7 children. Naturally, she turned into a tomboy, but when the Dominion attacked Earth, she knew what she wanted to do: protect the Federation. Her parents thought it was a phase and that she would grow out of it, but she didn't. She volunteered at the local fire department near her family's farm and rescued several dogs. When she saw how the dogs assisted the law enforcement in the town near her home, she knew that she wanted to do that. Her parents were relieved; there were no K9 units in Starfleet. However, she entered the academy anyway, and was delighted to learn that K9 units were being experimented with, particularly on Starbases as the dogs' senses had always helped humans in the past. Jenny is one of the first to be partnered with a dog, and is on her cadet cruise on the USS Hera. |
