Specifications

Name Description
USS Hera The Specifications for the USS Hera Registery Code NCC-79010, a Nebula Class Starship with a heavy Intel refit. Nacelles have been completely replaced with new Venture series nacelles, granting higher warp factors. The pod has been replaced with a special Intel pod with similar tactical and sensor capabilities of the prior pod but with more Intel oriented equipment. New armor plating renders the ship virtually undetectable by most known sensors when polarized and has a purple-green dark pearlescence so even visual confirmation is difficult.

Refit Notes
-Tactical/Sensor Pod replaced with Intel Pod - capabilities are similar but with an added deck for Intel specific equipment and sensor systems. This includes the sub-quantum data encryption lab, S31 armory, and the Celium system.
-Deck 13 Intel Offices and quarantined computer core - In the old saucer blueprints was some spare space between the IDF generators and a cargo bay. Work areas for three dozen personnel are available.
- Bridge Module replacement - Rather than the normal Nebula bridge module or even the Galaxy bridge module we were formerly fitted with, we've received a Hope series bridge module with blue and grey decor and dedicated Intel workstations and seats for everyone.
- Warp Nacelles - The standard Nebula/Galaxy series of nacelles have been replaced with Venture series nacelles. The MARA has also been replaced with a higher output model. This upgrade may be finicky, but will allow minimal subspace disturbance and better efficiency at higher warp factors. Specs are modified to reflect this.
- Armor plating - The entire outer hull is now covered in a pearlescent plating that when energized will in theory completely mask the Hera's energy and sensor signatures. While active, you'd have to look out a window to locate the Hera.
-Point Defense System - All phaser strips not in normal use (anything other than the two main ones on the saucer) can have their programming switched to act as a series of individual emitters that can fire small pulses of phaser energy in the vicinity of torpedoes. Not powerful enough to do anything to really even a shielded shuttle, but enough to destroy incoming artillery.
USS Selune The USS Selune is a custom built Arrow class runabout assigned to the USS Hera from Starfleet Intel Command Fitted with the same stealth plating as the USS Hera and with engine tuning for completely undetectable ion trails at both warp and sublight speeds. Even looking out a window, this ship is almost impossible to spot unless they want you to.

The Arrow-class runabout is the ultimate successor to the Danube-class as she was rapidly aging in her role as Starfleet's leading runabout class. The design teams of Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards set out to design a successor that would be just as efficient, flexible and dependable, while still incorporating the newest technologies, a much more efficient and powerful power supply, proper landing gear, and more modern warp designs. Incorporating many of the lessons learned at such cost in the Dominion War, as well as those insights that could be extracted from the successes of the Delta Flyer product, the Arrow-class runabout has already proven an extremely popular piece of equipment with those starships and starbases fortunate enough to acquire them.

The Arrow was built with modification and modular upgrades in mind, with the result that any two Arrows on a given ship may be remarkably different in performance. Popular configurations include a survey package, which replaces the torpedo launchers with a probe deployment system and upgrades the onboard science equipment to allow a full science team aboard, and a Marine deployment configuration which strips down the runabout and augments its life support so that it can carry as many as fifty combat loaded Marines over short distances. With the time required for altering the configuration of an Arrow measured in hours rather than days, a larger starship which has sufficient notice will often tailor the capabilities of their runabouts to the needs that might arise during a mission.
USS Thor The USS Thor is an experimental Gryphon class runabout equipped for long range rescue missions. Loaded with enough gear to either liberate a planet or blow it up, this runabout is one of the USS Hera's most prized assets.

The Gryphon class runabout was a design sitting in the records for some time until Starfleet Intelligence put it into production for its own use. Following this, a limited run of the model and its variant the Stormcrow were put into production for use on some Federation starships and bases.

Due to the size of the class (it is twice as long as the Danube-class runabout and 50% wider) the number of Starfleet ships capable of carrying the runabout is limited. As a result they are intended for use on starbases, colonies and the largest of explorer starships.

Equipped with an experimental slipstream drive, the one aboard the USS Hera is untested and currently disabled.
USS Danu (Unlucky Lady) The Delta-class runabout is the ultimate culmination of creativity out of necessity. The Delta-class was created from the efforts of the crew of the USS Voyager to establish a new, formidable and multi-purpose small craft that could perform tasks well above and beyond that of the Intrepid-class' standard Type 9 shuttlecraft. The Type 9 shuttles suffered from being cramped, short ranged and with highly limited capabilities which hampered Voyager's efforts to get home from their estimated 70+ year journey through the Delta Quadrant.

The first of the class, the Delta Flyer, was originally constructed by Lieutenant Commander Tuvok, Lieutenant Tom Paris, Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres, Ensign Harry Kim and Seven of Nine. The Delta Flyer's original mission and reason for construction was to retrieve a multispatial probe from a gas giant, and therefore was outfitted with tetraburnium hull plating which would help it survive the massive amounts of pressure. However, while constructing the Delta Flyer it was decided that the crew would outfit the ship with all the latest and most potent technologies in order to make it a multipurpose vessel to suit all their needs. Eventually Borg-enhanced regenerative shielding, bio-neural gel pack circuitry, retractable warp nacelles, more "pilot-friendly" controls for better control handling, upgraded warp systems and a Phaser Array system, instead of phaser emitters, were all installed during the construction of the vessel.

When Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant, the Starfleet Corps of Engineers immediately began to implement the design with a few upgrades to the Starfleet systems that Voyager didn't have during the ships construction. Although somewhat resource intensive for a runabout, it paid itself off two-fold in its usefulness and abilities. Eventually the Delta-class was available to larger starships, and generally only one was assigned per ship, although not obligatory. Starships with Delta-class runabouts assigned to them are capable of running them on assignments at one time, freeing up the starship for possible other duties.
USS Frigga While the Danube-class was adequate for many of Starfleet's needs in the years prior to the Dominion War, many engineers felt that the design lacked sufficient resilience and firepower for frontline missions during that conflict. Additionally, many of those starships commanders fortunate enough to have a capable MACO detachment aboard had noted the difficulty of delivering those MACOs safely into potentially hostile areas which might not allow the effective use of transporters. Designed with both of these considerations in mind, deployed in 2374 to supplement the Danube, the Mustang class runabout has repeatedly proven itself to be one of the most formidable small craft available to Starfleet.

In addition to augmented hull armor and shielding, the most important innovation which enables the Mustang to operate so effectively in hostile environments is the new Type VII phaser array. With a considerably upgraded power capacity and advanced computer support, each array can support three emitter segments capable of independent targeting and high rates of fire. Between the three such arrays mounted on a Mustang's hull, the range of fire arcs available to her crew covers virtually the entire perimeter of the craft. This enables the runabout to maneuver defensively without fear of masking her own fire, as well as to defend herself against attack from virtually any angle.

Manticore Enalia's personal pirate ship. Painted pink with rose detailing. Decommissioned as the USS Vanguard, it was purchased as a bulk hulk with three other salvaged Miranda class hulls that had been stripped by Starfleet for parts. Most of the interior is intact with 2290s to 2340s refit parts. Engineering is a conglomeration of Vulcan, Andorian, and Tellarite tech. Weapons are mostly Andorian. Sensors are Vulcan. Engines and helm are a mix of Romulan and Human standard. Bridge layout is that of the 2390's science refits. Engineered so that warp power flows constantly and is routed directly into all phasers and shields for maximum effectiveness.
IRW Sistius An old T'varo warbird that saw active service during the time that the NX-01 was active. Now a defense force ship of Rihansu reunificationists with ultra-modern sickbay. Received with limited cloak and no singularity core - she currently runs on a small micro-fusion reactor that provides about 90% nominal power of a ship of that era.
