The new law guy in town.

Posted on Sun May 10th, 2015 @ 1:40am by Lieutenant JG Airi Saxa & Lieutenant Daln Hadren

Mission: The New Sydney Fiasco
Location: His office
Timeline: After his coming aboard?

Airi was off-duty at present, but had heard about a new Chief of security. The last one had moved on, and she hadn't really gotten to know them. Maybe this person would be interesting, to some degree? She rings the chime, dressed in uniform pants, and boots, with a tanktop shirt adorned by a combadge, and a brown leather flight jacket. Her pistol hung by her side in a holster she made for it.

What exactly was she hoping for? Even the flight jockey wasn't sure. It was simply a meeting...by chance.

Daln was in his uniform, just coming around the corner, looking at his orders, when he hit a wall and stumbled back a few steps. But the wall was squishy...

He looked down and saw that he had knocked a woman off her feet. He always wanted to sweep a girl off her feet, but not like this. He leaned down and gave her a hand up. "Are you alright, ma'am?" he asked, trying to hide his embarrassment.

She'd been knocked square on her backside all of a sudden, and bit her lip quietly to hide her embarrassment, her cheeks a slight shade of pink even as she got to her feet with his help. "I'm good, was no big deal." she chuckled, dusting off her duds. "So you're the one I'm here to see huh? Lieutenant Hadren.."

He nodded. "Yeah, just on my way to see the captain. I'm sorry I knocked you over. It was my fault, I wasn't watching where I was going."

"It's all good." She smiled a bit. "Airi Saxa, the Chief Flight Controller. Thought I'd introduce myself." she extended her hand for a handshake.

Daln smiled back and took the proffered hand. "Daln Hadren, the new Chief SecTac. I've been bumping into things all day, but I had been hoping I could avoid bumping into people." He cast around quickly for a change of topic. "Are there any fighter pilots aboard?"

"You're looking at the only one." She chuckled. "I pull double duty. It's fun."

"I was interested in learning more about them," Daln said. "My cousin is a fighter pilot, and the only male cousin that doesn't look exactly alike."

"I guess looks are important there, huh?" She commented on the resemblance, before shrugging a bit. "Okay, sure, I could help you with that. Wanna go a few rounds in the simulator or ask me questions regarding theory?"

"No, looks aren't important, just annoying, because me and my brother are straight and Ranel is gay. Lots of mixups, lots of broken jaws. And yeah, I'd like to try it out."

"Ouch. Feel for ya there. Bi myself, but never thought about it all that much." Airi shrugged. "Well let me know when it'd be a good time for you and I'll see about joining you in the holodeck for that."

Daln nodded. "That sounds great. I'll let you know. I'll be seeing you, as I think you're due for a phaser certification."

A smirk crosses her features. "Yeah, I know the drill." She was definitely an excellent shot, and she would prove it.

Daln smiled at her one last time. "Have a good day." He turned and walked off, thinking that maybe the Hera might be okay.

"See ya 'round." She waved and walked off, the usual swagger in her step.
