Mission: Temporal Kickback
Location: Bridge of the Hera
Timeline: After Leaving Station R-134A

At the beginning of Bridge Duty, Lieutenant Commander Sinek was a prime example of how an officer should look while on the Bridge. His uniform was crisp and clean; he looked sharp to the tip of his ears.

As Sinek began monitoring at the Science Station and taking mental notes, he noticed a slight odor begin to envelope around him. Suddenly, he realized that he did not remember what he had been doing. Sinek shook his head. Curious... was all he could think when his eyes rolled back and the Vulcan collapsed to the deck.

Eight hours later, just before shift change, Sinek came conscious. Gathering himself, he sat up. Looking around the bridge, the Lieutenant Commander realized he was alone. Sinek arched a brow, suddenly realizing he no longer wore his uniform. In fact, he had no clothing on at all.

"This is illogical," Sinek stated to the abandoned bridge. It couldn't be a dream; Sinek never slept long enough to have a dream. "There has to be a logical explanation," the Vulcan stated as he heard the turbo lift door swoosh open. Glancing to the turbo lift from his seated position, the nude Vulcan saw Commander Telvan entering the bridge.

"Good morning Lieutenant Commander Sinek." Enalia said as she plopped down in the center of the 3 command chairs and punched up the ship's status on her console. "You're out of uniform and the rest of the bridge crew is missing. Do you have an explanation or should I just check the security logs?" Looking up at the nude Vulcan, she stared him in the eyes, her gaze not straying.

Sinek stood up with his arms down to his sides. The was no embarrassment showing; Vulcan's do not feel embarrassed. The Lieutenant Commander flatly responded, "There is a logical explanation, Commander..." He thought back upon his day, but not much registered.

"...I am at a loss as to what that explanation would be at the moment. I arrived for bridge duty in uniform. I went to the Science Station. I remember a foul scent and that is all I remember. I became conscious just shortly before you entered. It is rather curious, Commander. Perhaps a look at the security logs will help determine what has occurred."

Heading to the security station at the back of the bridge, Enalia pulled up the logs, displaying the video feed from last night. "Let's see if we can see anything then."

Sinek purposefully walked to stand just behind the Commander. He stood there, centimeters away, hands straight down to his sides, still no embarrassment registering in his demeanor.

The security logs began just when Sinek arrived upon the bridge fully clothed in his officer's uniform. Sinek greeted the staff on the bridge, who were all present, all male and fully clothed. The log showed Sinek approaching his station, then showing confusion and falling to the floor. As the others on the bridge began to respond, a female, appearing to be Deltan, entered the bridge. She appeared to be mischievous. All the men on the bridge fell under her spell. He voice is heard saying, "If you men truly love me, you will leave the bridge now for the rest of your shift." All the men leave, arguing which loves her most. She then approaches the fallen Vulcan, sneers with a laugh and says, "Did I not tell you I would find revenge?"

Enalia watched the security log with a look of disdain on her face. A Deltan was aboard her ship?

Sinek raised his left brow in recognition. "The female you see is Sela, a Deltan from my past. She was a tender in the lounge of the ship I served. Sela helped me through a rather difficult time in my life...pon farr...about twenty years ago. When the actual pon farr ended, Sela realized that I truly did not feel for her in the way she thought I did....Vulcans do not feel...Sela went away, but vowed to get revenge. Commander, I was not aware that Sela was aboard the Hera."

As Sinek was offering the explanation the security logs continued to show Sela taking a utility knife and cutting away Sinek's uniform. She left the bridge with the rags, exclaiming, "Perhaps now you will know embarrassment like I felt."

Sinek stood in the flesh directly behind the commander unable to feel. "Vulcans do not embarrass; Vulcans have nothing by which to be embarrassed," came his matter-of-fact reply to Sela's final statement.

"Bullshit. I know Vulcans have emotions. You just bury them like most people bury their dead. Forever." Enalia said. "Find that woman. I want her in the brig. Phaser her and everyone she has under her thumb if you have to. And get my bridge crew back on the bridge."

"Understood, commander," the Vulcan affirmed. "Security, I am sending a file of a female Deltan aboard. Apprehend secure her in a cell. It is highly important that only female security personnel apprehend and guard her."

Opening a ship wide channel, the Vulcan announced, "All on bridge duty, please report to the bridge."

Lieutenant Commander Sinek glanced down at himself. "Commander, may I make use of the replicator in your Ready Room so as not to bring embarrassment to the crew?"

"It barely gets the drinks I order right. I doubt it could make a uniform. Use the one in the conference room." Enalia said as she headed down to her chair. "Computer, yellow alert." Sitting down, Enalia punched up ship's status on her console. "Lieutenant Commander Sinek, I want this bridge crewed in three minutes. I suggest expedience."

"Yes, Commander," Sinek stated as he steadily walked toward the conference room. The door barely whisked shut, enclosing the nude Vulcan inside, as the first of the on duty bridge crew began to arrive. Two and a half minutes later, the bridge was fully staffed, including the oncoming Science Officer, and Lieutenant Commander Sinek exited the conference room in full uniform.

The CSO briefed the oncoming bridge crew on their current status. Seeing that he was relieved as the Science Officer on the bridge, Sinek looked to Commander Telvan and stated, "There is now a Science Officer on the bridge. I would like to assist security in the apprehension of Sela."

"Permission granted," Enalia said as she looked up from her chair console for a moment to make sure Sinek was clothed. "The sooner she's in the brig, the happier I'll be."

Sinek gave a nod of affirmation toward her and stated, Aye, Commander."

The Vulcan turned and started toward the turbo lift doors. As he approached a quiet swish was heard as the door opened. Sinek left the bridge to perform his duty in cooperation with the Hera's Security Team.
